RheMatrix Institute is a Christian research and educational institution grounded in the central affirmations of historic, orthodox Christianity rather than the distinctive doctrines of any single denomination.
We affirm faith in the Triune God; Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man; his incarnation, death, bodily resurrection, and lordship; the authority of Scripture; and salvation by grace.
Faith and Research
Christian faith shapes the moral questions RheMatrix asks and its understanding of truth, human dignity, freedom, justice, responsibility, and the common good.
It does not determine empirical conclusions. Claims must be tested against evidence, contrary findings considered, and uncertainty acknowledged.
Institutional Commitments
RheMatrix seeks to embody its Christian identity in its governance, treatment of people, and use of institutional power and resources.
We are committed to human dignity, responsible stewardship, nonpartisan independence, and integrity in funding, partnerships, and operations. Our governing framework is designed to preserve this identity over time.
Working Across Differences
RheMatrix may work with researchers and institutions from a wide range of religious and intellectual backgrounds.
Collaboration does not require agreement with every element of the Institute’s faith, but it does require respect for its mission, independence, and standards of integrity. Partnership does not imply endorsement of every position held by either party.
